District Assessment Entry

This session will briefly presentation how to support standardized entry of assessments within MyEducation BC to ensure consistent data into and out of MyEdBC and MyEdBC Insightsin various ways. Discuss assessment definitions for commonly used assessments in BC are available at the enterprise level for use by all districts and how District can create their own definitions. Demonstrate how District and school users have the ability to load assessment results for any assessment definition in MyEducation BC configured according to the standard assessment structure (both Enterprise and District Assessments).

MyEd Insights Power BI - How to build a report that can help identify students at risk

In this session we will look at Power BI for web using the MyEd Insights demo database to build a report to help identify students at risk. We will also look at some examples in use in SD60 by district staff, principals, vice-principals, and the Indigenous Education team.

MyEd Insights Power BI uses data from MyEd BC (refreshed nightly) which allows districts to visualize MyEd data without the need for data warehouses, extracts, ETL, excel sheets etc.
