Attendance in MyEducation BC is set up to record arrivals, departures and absences of students. MyEducation BC is set up to record one attendance record per student per day or per class. There are two main ways of taking Attendance in MyEducation BC: 1) Daily Attendance or 2) Class Attendance. Schools may choose to take either form of attendance, or both depending on their requirements.

Join this session to see a brief demonstration of both class and daily attendance procedures from the school and teacher views, multi-add function, joining classes for attendance purposes and so much more. Bring your questions and join the discussion or come share ideas your district is using to ensure accurate attendance records, including school setup and management.

Competency-Based IEPs (CBIEP) are now being used to support the learning of students here in many districts in BC. This new format and process is supported by the Ministry of Education and was collaboratively developed by representatives from several school districts, the BCTF and the Provincial Audit Team. This session will focus on an introduction to using CB-IEPS in your District: adding security roles for users, enrolling and renewing students in Student Services, as well as an overview of the tabs where data can be entered and the CB-IEP and progress reports printing.
