A presentation on data flows and how data entered into MyEducation BC moves through various local and Ministry tools to reach different audiences, each of whom uses this data to make informed decisions that impact students and their learning. The presentation will highlight several Ministry data tools and sources available to all schools and districts.

In this session, we will explore the fundamentals of General Data Extracts (GDEs) within MyEdBC. Attendees will learn what GDEs are and how to work with them in Excel. We will delve into a couple of specific GDEs to uncover unique data insights that are not readily available elsewhere in MyEdBC. This presentation is designed for those who are new to GDEs or want to learn more about working with them in Excel, and focuses on the basics, without involving SQL or Power BI. This session is appropriate for both L1s and clerical.

Familiarize with the basic features and functionalities of the IEP in MyEd BC module. Understand the purpose and importance of an IEP in the context of MyEdBC. Utilize the IEP in MyEdBC to create and manage IEPs for students.
